For Labor Day weekend we went back home to visit our families. Houston screamed most of the drive there, but Heath was great. We left our house at noon, picked up Matt from school and got to Matt's parents house about 6. 

 Ben, Becca and their crew came to visit Saturday. Isla had just started crawling! Isn't she SO cute!

 Heath especially loves Isla. He talks about her quite frequently, so I think he was happy to see her again.

 We had so much fun playing and talking and laughing. : )

 Heath got to play with his favorite cousin again. That made him very glad. Since we've been home again he's asked almost every day where Duda is, to which I reply, she's at her house, and he usually says, oh.... then asks when we're going to Becca's house.

 Matt got an ipad for school. He's been enjoying it very much. It's way sweet for school, he can make notes along with the teacher's lectures that they post online. So no carrying big old binders and books for Matt this year!  We've been having fun with it too. It was a wonderful tool on the long car ride for the boys.

 What would we ever do without Sammy? We sure love him!

After church and tasty Sunday beans we said our goodbyes and left for my parents house. 

 Houston is quite the little ham whenever there's a camera around.

 His new favorite thing is pointing. He points at everything and when he's really excited about something he'll put his finger to his lips and go, "ooohhhh." It's really quite cute!

We left Grandpa out with the boys for a bit and came back to them attacking Grandma's bird bath.

 Houston wanted to drink that water SO BADLY! Exactly what he does in the bath tub.

 They had so much fun!  Houston's faces say it all...

  It was pretty hillarious! 

Houston's favorite spot was the top of the stairs. 

 Grandma has a baby gate there, but if it was ever removed, he knew instantly.

 And then all too soon it was time to drive home. Heath wasn't happy about it at all, Houston was all smiles though because we flipped his seat. It made for a much more enjoyable drive home.
