While the Mommy's sick, the cousins will come play!

 She was such a sweet baby! Although it was definitely a different experience having two babies.

Heath and "Duda" played so well together. They are such good friends.

 I'm really sad that we're going to leave them soon. Heath sure loves "Duda"

 After she went back home Heath could count to 10 on his own and knew several of his colours.  She has been such a good influence on him!

We took a trip to Louisville to visit Uncle Pete and Aunt Amy for a few days. It was a really fun visit and seemed to go way too quickly. Sadly our camera is going crazy so we don't really have any of the pictures of the cousins together : ( but here are some from out visit to the zoo.

Lily, Me, Owie, Bertie, Tahnee, Houston (inside the blanket covered carseat) Heath, and Maren.

It was a wet trip complete with a tornado warning but we had a really fun time.  Heath was scared of most of the animals (such a silly boy), but really liked the zebras and turtle/lizard exhibit. 

We sure miss everybody and Heath talks about the cousins, especially Bertie a lot. It was sure nice to get to go!

Cutie Pie

Cutie Pie came to play again. They had so much fun together.

She and CandyBar took the couch apart and made a "race track." She rode his bike and he rode his horse.

They ran back and forth and back and forth. Then they both took a great nap!



The best friends are cousin friends

CandyBar's favorite friend these days is his cousin Cutie Pie.  She just turned 3 and is a little more advanced than our not quite 2 CandyBar, but for the most part these two get along really well. I love it when we drop him off in nursery at church and CutiePie comes running over calling his name and they give each other a big hug. Its so cute! CandyBar is obsessed with horses right now and when he and CutiePie get together it seems that's all they play.

CutiePie's mom said that she had a mysterious hole forming on the arm of her amazing rocking chair. She wasn't really sure why it kept getting bigger and bigger until one day when CandyBar was visiting and CutiePie jumped on that chair and yelled, "CandyBar come ride horses with me" She grabbed onto the ripped fabric and started shaking it violently yelling, "HE-YAH!" I can never get a picture that comes out because they are always bobbing their heads or kicking. Luckily CandyBar just uses Rat's reffing whistle as reins rather than ripping the couch. (at least for now)

They love to watch Spirit and The Man from Snowy River together and play horses the whole time.

They take turns being the horsie. I was very impressed with Cutie Pie's strength!

What a lucky boy to have such fun cousins, of all ages, so close! We are so blessed!
