Maybe by this summer he'll be able to reach the pedals.

Chrsitmas 2011
Now that I've finally caught up on getting us back to normal life I can take the time to post about our almost 2 weeks of wonderful Christmas fun!
Chrsitmas Morning was spent at our house with just us four. Being a Sunday, we decided to get up early and get ourselves ready for church, then wake up the kiddos to enjoy our morning without having to worry about the time. Texas was happy as he usually is, but CandyBar was not too excited about leaving his cozy bed. Rat and I turned on some Christmas music in an effort to slowly wake him (he doesn't do well with a sudden waking) and started singing slightly louder and louder, but he didn't like it much. Once we showed him the stocking though he forgot all about that bed of his.

After our morning festivities were over we threw the boys into some Sunday clothes and took off for church. Sacrament Meeting was really nice, they had several different groups sing Christmas songs, Myself being in a few of them. I love singing in groups. It made Christmas seem all that more special to remember why we celebrate as we do.
After church we went to Rat's parents house. We ate a tasty ham dinner and opened presents and played with all the cousins and uncles.

| Super Y, just a bit older than CandyBar |
CandyBar got some sweet dinosaurs from Grandma and horsies from Johnny.
He really enjoyed sharing with Texas.
Uncle Jim got him his "Fire Hat" which he still insists on wearing all the time. We had a battle over wearing it to church on Sunday.
Grandma made the boys these sweet Christmas Jammies, and Aunt Becca made CandyBar his awesome "Dinsasaur Slipperts." Notice the leggos from Grandma too.
Christmas evening we went up to my parents house to spend time with them. We ate a tasty turkey dinner,
And opened more presents. CandyBar got a "Cycle" which he absolutely LOVES!
& Texas got some fun baby toys.
After that we came back home for a night, then headed back to Rat's family's place to see more cousins that came to visit!

CandyBar and Birdie had so much fun together.
Lilers was so good to hold Texas. She is definitely going to be a great mommy.
Lots of giggling going on right here...

| We had such a wonderful Christmas! It is such a blessing to have so much family close by. |
I took these pictures of Texas thinking I would use one of them on here, but I just think they are all so cute so I had to use all of them. (my opinion may be a little bias) Sorry if you think its too much, but hes just so cute.

Silver Dollar
We went with my cousin & his family and my parents to Silver Dollar City. I was super excited since the last time I was able to ride a roller coaster was 4 or so years ago. We had been planning for weeks and were all pumped up to go. The forecast said it was going to be cold, but sunny. So we thought, "good the park will not be too busy, but the weather tolerable." Man were we ever wrong. It started out fairly slow, but by the time the sun was going down it was like someone yelled "free money" or something. There were SO many people! Luckily that was about the time we had planned on going home. I had never seen it like that and we've been going since I was just little.
The car ride there was heavenly. We took my cousins son along with us so he wouldn't have to ride in a car full of girls and all three boys slept pretty much the whole way there!
CandyBar loves to hold Texas' hand now, most likely because he always sees daddy and I holding hands in the car. I absolutely love it, it's so cute!
When we got there we bundled the kids up like Eskimos and set out. Texas was such a good baby and slept most of the day in the stroller all covered up and warm. I learned that they have "Nursing Stations" throughout the park so that was pretty awesome too!
Other than the seas of people we had to work around, we had a supper fun time! CandyBar got to do so many new things that he just loved!

Heids was super brave and loved the rides...
CandyBar on the other hand, not so much.
He did love the balls though.
Amy fed him some Cotton Candy. The first bit she gave him he just threw thinking it wasn't food, but soon learned how tasty it really was.
They had a quilt shop called "Becca's House." It reminded us of another Becca we know and love : )
I'm pretty sure this was CandyBar's favorite part of the day. He kept asking different people to take him on it over and over again.
Once it got dark and really cold we all went to Golden Corral to stuff ourselves silly.
