Houston is such a sweet boy. He is getting really good with his hands and can hold several different toys. They seem to go strait to his mouth.

 I'm not sure if he's really teething yet, but there definitely seems to be something going on in there. He is always chewing on things, his shirt sleeve, his blanket, a toy. His latest discovery is that if he pulls his binkie out and turns it, he can chew on the edge of it. (which he does quite frequently) 

 

He is not a very high maintenance boy. He is happy to be on the ground watching you rather than needing to be held all the time. He loves to smile and laugh (especially at Heath) and growl. He loves it when Heath reads him stories and shows him things. He is really strong and has an iron grip. He hasn't quite mastered the art of rolling over, but is getting so close. He will kick himself in circles on the floor and roll up onto his side, but hasn't gone all the way yet. 

 He is starting to get a pretty consistent schedule. He usually wakes up around 9am (which gives Heath and me quite a while together in the mornings) eats, then eats some rice cereal, then watches Heath play for about an hour and then is ready for a nap. I wrap him up, put him in his bed and he usually sleeps for a couple hours. Then he eats again and plays till about 1 and takes another nap. Then eats,plays till about 5, nap. Then eats, eats more rice cereal, and plays, usually has his daily stinky diaper in that time, then is ready for the day to be over around 9:30-10. He usually wakes up once in the night, right about 4am, eats for about 5 minutes then goes right back to sleep. Its really nice to have a routine and have some sort of an idea whats going to go on next. We are so grateful to have him. He definitely makes our house happy.
