Houston has been growing up so much lately. I don't really feel like he's my little baby anymore : ( , but it's so fun to watch him growing and changing and achieving. He is such a sweet little babbler and usually sounds so happy and high pitched. His favorite things are Da-dadadadadadadada and Dododododoo. When something's happening that he doesn't agree with (if Im not picking him up or Heath has a toy he wants) he says in a very deep voice Nooo- nonononononono. When he's sad it's Maa-mamamamamama. All of his words are the same thing repeated over and over and trail off on the end.

He has started walking, but only occasionally. Heath was so different. Once Heath figured it out, that's all he did. Houston only walks for reward. Cheerios are the preferred treat, but hugs from Mommy or Daddy work too. He's so cute tottering back and forth.
Houston has also started clapping. When he does something he's proud of, like waking, he'll start clapping at himself. He also has learned how to wave. When someone picks up the keys he usually starts waving. He's gotten really good at it visiting Grannie and Paps.
Houston is a climber. He became a pro at climbing onto Heaths bed pretty early, he now loves to climb onto the couch and up onto the back to look out the window or over the edge. It's pretty scary because he seems to have no boundaries and will just go right over the edge. He's really good at climbing onto all the many boxes we have around the house and up the bookshelf and change table : (
We have been having a lot of fun watching the olympics this year. Peasant vision is so good to show them. Almost every morning when Heath gets up he says, "Watch Rimpics please?"
Me: "Look Heath, that's Michael Phellps"
Heath: "My Uncle Phelps?" "My Uncle Phelps!"
So now Heath has a new Uncle that he talks about.
Heath loves to yell "GO, GO,GO, Ready Set GO, GO,GO!" at the TV when their getting ready to start a race. He just keeps yelling it until they do go, then he proudly says, "I did it"
Heath can't figure out why the swimmers wear "Broken Cowboy hats?"
Heath absolutely loves to watch the gymnastics. He is constantly saying "Look at me!" as he rolls and cartwheels and flips around the living room with the gymnasts. He's surprisingly pretty good.
I've really enjoyed watching the track, gymnastics, and water polo.
